Event Insurance

 

For all Lighthouse events, we require clients to obtain a Certificate of Insurance (COI) and provide appropriate certificates and endorsements to us at least 60 days prior to your event date.

To simplify this process, you can purchase event insurance from our partner, The Event Helper, using this dedicated link. It defaults to our venue named as an additional insured.

If you’d like to purchase event insurance from another source, such as www.ewedinsurance.com or www.wedsafe.com, we’ve listed the requirements below. You can also refer to Exhibit C of your Lighthouse Contract for the full description of the Licensee Insurance Requirements.

Licensee shall:

  • Procure and pay for insurance policies for all contracted rental time at The Lighthouse.

  • Provide appropriate insurance certificates and endorsements to The Lighthouse at least 60 days prior to the event date.

  • Give The Lighthouse at least 30 days prior written notice before making any changes to the policies.

  • Obtain insurance policies with an insurance company authorized to do business in the State of California.

The coverage shall:

  • Include General Liability Insurance (or Personal Liability Insurance if Licensee is an individual) in the amount of not less than $1,000,000 each occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate.

  • Include a policy covering $1,000,000 “Host Liquor Liability” if alcoholic beverages are being served at the event.

  • Name ‘The Lighthouse LLC’ as additional insured by a separate endorsement attached to the Certificate of Insurance.

  • Be primary and without right of contribution from similar insurance maintained by the Licensor.

  • Apply to (i) the Premises during the Event, (ii) operations of independent contractors engaged by Licensee for services on or about the Premises, and (iii) contractual liability.

  • Include such other insurance as the Licensor deems reasonably necessary in light of the nature of the proposed event.

  • Additional Insured / Certificate Holder Name: The Lighthouse LLC

  • Venue Name: The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina

  • Venue Address: 2000 Glen Cove Marina Road, Vallejo, CA. 94591

  • Venue Contact: Maggie Panontin-Young

  • Include the name(s) of the client(s) holding the event

  • Include the event date, including all contracted rental time at The Lighthouse
