End of Event Checklist
The End of Event Checklist outlines the tasks that must be completed before the conclusion of your rental period at The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina. These responsibilities should be carried out by your hired vendors or designated representatives on your behalf.
All clients, designated contacts, plus any caterers or bartenders who have not worked an event at The Lighthouse must complete the End of Event Checklist Agreement form here.
End of Event Checklist:
✔ Any leftover ice disposed of in the sink.
✔ All personal belongings, decorations, and non-Lighthouse items cleared from the Banquet Room, bathrooms, and all outside areas.
✔ All decorations (florals, foliage, ribbon, signage) detached and removed from Lighthouse coordinated rentals and equipment.
✔ All rentals removed from the premises and picked up.
✔ All food/beverage items removed from the prep kitchen and refrigerators.
✔ All indoor and outdoor facilities are in a broom-swept condition, free of debris.
✔ All trash/recycling/foliage cleared from the banquet room and outside areas.
✔ All trash/recycling/foliage removed from the premises for off-site disposal.
Additional Terms:
The closing Lighthouse Event Representative will complete a walk-through with the Client(s) or point of contact before the end of the leasing period to ensure the above tasks are completed.
Failure to complete this checklist may result in a deduction from the Client's damage deposit, as noted in the Lighthouse contract and Facility Use Policies.
It is the responsibility of the Client(s) to ensure the Planner, any applicable hired vendors, and designated contacts are made aware of this checklist.
The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina staff are not responsible for moving non-Lighthouse items. Only Lighthouse-provided items will be placed in their respective locations by The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina staff.
