Suggested DJ Gear


The following list is a starting point for the optimal sound experience for your Lighthouse event. The exact gear and equipment required for your event will depend on your program and locations on the property. Feel free to share this with your DJ prior to your event so they can prepare as needed.

Ceremony (East Garden)

  • Wireless Microphone(s)

  • Microphone Stand(s)

  • Wired Microphone as backup

  • 4-8 Channel Mixer

  • 1-2 Small Speakers that can be moved for cocktail hour if needed (Bose S1, QSC K-8, etc.)

  • Appropriate Cables

  • Power Strips / Extension Cords

Dinner (West Garden)

  • Wireless Microphone(s)

  • Microphone Stand(s)

  • Wired Microphone as backup + DJ Announcements

  • 4-8 Channel Mixer

  • 1 Large Speaker (12 in. or more) or 2 small speakers

  • Appropriate Cables

  • Power Strips / Extension Cords

Dancing (Waterfront Banquet Room)

  • NO SUBS NEEDED

  • Wired Microphone for DJ announcements

  • 2 Speakers (no larger than 12 in.)

  • Appropriate Cables

  • Power Strips / Extension Cords

Additional notes:

  • Devices that handle playlisted music and mixing will be specific to each DJ and their preference.

  • Multiple smaller setups is the "name of the game" to have a great event at The Lighthouse

  • Up lights should be battery operated. The Lighthouse banquet room will need a minimum of 12 and can accommodate up to 24.
