Bay Area Wedding Pros Holiday Party

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of partnering with the San Francisco Bay Area Wedding Pros networking group to host their annual Holiday Mixer at The Lighthouse. Co-planning with Katie of Kinsley James Couture Bridal was a lot of fun and I was overwhelmed (in a wonderful way) by the number of talented professionals willing to help sponsor the event! 

The event was truly a collaborative effort. It was our goal to showcase our new venue and some amazing vendors, while simultaneously networking and meeting new folks in the industry. I believe, despite the rainy weather and traffic jams on several freeways, our goals were accomplished! Upon entering our Banquet Room, guests were greeted by the lovely Ryanne of Steele My Heart. She lovingly hand-lettered each-and-every name tag for the event (and our gorgeous welcome sign too!)

The first styled table was the brain-child of the brilliant Denise of d. Royal Engagements. She, along with her talented team, pulled together this AMAZING Kate Spade-inspired table in record time (with just a few days notice)! Several of the items were pulled from Denise's Private Collection, including the Kate Spade highball glasses and that stunning white vase!

Liz of Enchantment Floral also provided the festive florals for our glitzy cocktail tables. Those FABULOUS sequined linens were brought to us from Candy Crush Events.

The second table display was designed by the ever-so-talented Lindsay of Lindsay Lauren Events. She and Sheela of Sarah's Garden tirelessly put together this amazingly beautiful vignette!

No event is complete without dessert! Thanks to the ladies of Petite Pomme and the delightful treats of Kitty Wong Pastry Shop--the sweets table was not only incredibly delicious, it was absolutely stunning too! Their team also consisted of goodies from EsselleSF and lush florals from Floret Lafayette. The rental table came from the expansive collection of Wine Country Party & Events.

As if there wasn't enough sugar, we were also treated to the most amazing mini-donuts from Harvey's Gourmet Mini Donuts. There's nothing quite like the smell of freshly cooked donuts! These gals are lovely!

Our guests also left with beautifully-packaged handmade chocolates from Something Sweet Chocolates!

Contrary to what it sounds like, there were more than desserts for attendees to enjoy! Thanks to the culinary expertise of the team at Alex's Catering--guests enjoyed Ahi Tuna, Smoked Chicken, and Caesar Salad cones. 

Though not-pictured, we also thank Wilma Lott Catering and 907 Grill for their yummy contributions as well!

When it was time for a bit of lounging in style, Seventh Heaven Vintage Rentals' picturesque vintage lounge was the place to be!

As far as entertainment, DJ Nate of Caliber DJs SF played all the right tunes!

And the Giggle & Riot Photobooth team made sure we documented the holiday season kick-off.

And if you can believe it...all of this was just ONE level of the event! Upstairs in our remodeled Inn, we continued the fun! The gals from Kinsley James Couture Bridal Salon brought some gorgeous gowns and equally gorgeous models! Thanks to the team from I Do Dry Style and Makeup By Adele, they all looked flawless. 

The team upstairs was rounded out by the remarkable Sarah of Sarah's Sweets. This amazing young lady (she's only 13) is an entrepreneur AND a humanitarian. She donates a $1.00 of each cupcake sold to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation--in honor of her late grandmother who passed from the disease. Cupcakes that taste delicious, look delicious, AND give back for a great cause? Sign us up!

We would also like to thank Annette from Petals of Love Floral Studio for her floral contributions to the Welcome Table, Bar, and upstairs lounge!

Another nod of gratitude to Wine Country Party & Events for their continual support and for sponsoring our rental needs!

...And a special "thank-you" to our intern Ilana for always going the extra mile! She was seen pouring cocktails upstairs AND downstairs, putting out her homemade cucumber bites, and she was the last one to leave after cleanup! Did we mention she also brought her lovely mom and sister along with her to help tend bar? She is a rare, and wonderful find indeed!

And, lastly, the team from A Touch of Grace for all of their help! Amber, co-owner of ATOG AND Kinsley James, also runs the SF Bay Area Wedding Pros Group.
